I incorrectly assumed the Manual contained solutions for ALL of ...

I incorrectly assumed the Manual contained solutions for ALL of the odd-numbered problems. It does not, though it does have most of them. Usually this isn't a problem though occasionally I've been stumped and the Manual was of no help.
Also, this is only Volume 1! Don't forget to order Volume 2 if you'll be going through the whole book.

This solutions manual is good in that it offers extra hints and tips towards processes for solving different types of calculus problems. It is bad in that it skips some questions and does not provide answers to them...extremely frustrating.

Missing at least 20% of answers

At least one out of every five problems is not included, so it only covers a subset of odd-numbered problems. Just look at the first few pages using Amazon's "Look Inside" feature. If you buy this book, prepare to be frequently frustrated.
Update: the more I use this book, the more I hate it. It invariably fails to do its job just when you most need help.
